can produce a truly stunning and very personal \'one-of-a-kind\' creation.
The client was looking for an over sofa mirror to compliment the stunning interior they had created
An over sofa mirror is a dramatic way of adding a focal point whilst enhancing the light and space in your living area.
Whenever we approach any mirror design for any location we always maintain a focus on the 3 distinct design criteria of Size, Style and Finish.
Understanding the impact that adjusting these elements will have on the mirrors design and final appearance is often a matter of combining experience with creative vision. We carefully proportioned the frame to compliment the sofa and make the most of the views of the garden beyond.
The subtly textured finish was chosen to compliment the details in the room
Having highlighted some clear preferences from a selection of designs suggested and reference material provided, we were then able to refine the final proposed design. We chose the finish to be hand gilded in silver leaf over a mildly textured clay base, then burnished to allow the random texture to break through.
